PREVIOUS- Leaving Death in the Dust- dedication, foreword, and acknowledgements
Follow me to Tennessee, A land filled with possibility. Plentiful in big rivers, Her bridges better doors, The place of catfish greetings. Giant tulip poplars all around. A vast sea of Blue Flags abounds, The lovely scent of bearded Iris, Brings satisfaction to my soul. A bob white whistles, A smallmouth takes my bait, Fireflies light up the night, Illuminating sacred space. Within Tennessee is a pearl of great price, A little taste of heaven, Sourwood honey to partake, Something precious of my own, Tennessee is where I make my home.
